Unboxing the 2012 Predator Rugby Boots

The latest Predator Incurza Rugby Boots by adidas feature a number of advanced technical features that make this boot truly state of the art.

Most notable performance wise are the two sections on the upper-outer of the boot specifically designed with kick accuracy and precision in mind. The first, known as the ‘Precision Zone’ improves ball contact when kicking in-play, while the second area, aptly named the ‘Sweet Spot’ is positioned to enhance goal kicking.

The Predators also include customisable lacing construction which allows the wearer to adjust for a wider or narrower fit.

Inside, the boot incorporates a 3D puff on the inner surface of the heel helps to lock the boot in place, prevent slippage and helps to speed up the breaking in process. These boots are also compatible with adidas miCoach, with the chip feating neatly beneath the insole.

The lower sections include a 5mm heel lift to help reduce injury and strain on the lower limbs. adidas’ Sprint Frame outsole construction combine stability with a light weight finish. The sole makes use of the hybrid TRAXION™ SG outsole which features soft and firm ground studs for optimal grip and traction.

These new adidas Predator Incurza rugby boots have already proven to be a hit amongst many of the professional stars, including Dan Carter, Will Genia and Jon Sexton. The well known Predator line looks to have delivered yet another fine piece of footware, that not only delivers on the pitch, but also helps players and coaches to improve and refine their game.
