Outside backs and those that base their game around speed will look dashing in adidas’ 2013 version of the AdiZero RS7III Pro TRX SG boot, resplendent in vivid purple and bold yellow.

A favourite of some of the game’s true superstars, including Ma’a Nonu and Brian Habana, the RS7 III is adidas’ lightest ever rugby boot, made from their Sprint Skin Upper, a patented material which is lighter than any other synthetic available.

The Sprint frame is the key to keeping the boot light, with the outsole coming in 50% lighter than other regular TPU outsoles. The midfoot support reduces the risk of injury, while the hybrid sole-plate, featuring a mixture of moulded and removable studs, was design to enhance explosive acceleration and high-speed manoeuvrability.

Compatible with adidas’ miCoach technology, with the chip fitting discreetly inside the sole of the boot, this is one of the footwear giants’ most advanced boots ever produced, and the 2013 version is sure to be as popular as it is visually stunning.
