adidas Flanker Rugby Boots

Flanker Rugby Boots were made by adidas and as the name implies were ideal for the backrow and in fact all forwards. Offering excellent grip in the scrum with an eight studded outsole and new shield protection on a wide boot for stronger players. The full grain leather upper had Extra Wide Fit, for comfort and soft feel. Shield protection foam offered additional protection in areas that you needed it most. The eight screw in studs gave you grip even on very soft natural grounds.

The Flanker range of boots ran to the series iv, they had a variety of colours though predominately black. We thought that adidas would continue to develop these boots as they were so popular and fit for purpose but it would seem not, though they have a range under the adidas Adipure boots. One of their offerings which replaces these is the adidas Regulate boots. Though we do expect a new boot will be offered during 2012. Many well known names in the backrow forwards are wearing the adidas R15 boots series so they are another possibility.
