The All Black halves combination of Piri Weepu and Dan Carter sported the new version of adidas’ Predator Incurza when the World Champions met Scotland at Murrayfield on the weekend.
Following the black/blue/lime and silver/black/red versions, the new colourway is predominantly white, with black features and subtle yellow highlights.
Designed with input from Carter himself, the Incurza is adidas’ premier boot for kickers, with two zones, the ‘Sweet Spot’ and the ‘Precision Zone’ developed to enhance connection with the ball and increase accuracy.
The innovations also mean more power is generated with less effort, making it easier to train for longer, while a versatile lacing system ensures the perfect fit.
The under-fire Weepu would have silenced some critics on the weekend as he played with renewed vigor and energy, while Carter appeared back to his best as he directed the All Blacks to a comfortable 51-22 win in the first match of their North Hemisphere tour.
