Key points of the Omega

The Omega is said to be a revolutionary boot in the Gilbert range, being made using innovative XR2 tech PU material. Making them very lightweight and very strong whilst offering exceptional performance. Designed to meet the needs of all rugby players, it features strategic overlay support elements to provide added stability when driving in rucks and scrummages. There is also a pre-formed footbed and SSP support plate for ID foot rigidity. A thermo plastic heel counter ensures an optimum fit and support in the heel, vital in explosive moments. The eight-stud provides essential traction on soft ground, while the Pebax outsole has an internal support unit with strategically positioned studs for superior weight distribution. The 8 stud configuration is used on the adult version and 6 stud on the junior.
