Parramatta have had one of their worst seasons this year, but produced the upset of the competition so far when they knocked over the mighty Melbourne Storm over in the 20th round.
The Return Of Jarred Hayne, wearing the new adidas Predator Lethal Zones, in appropriate Eels blue and electric red with white adidas accents, played a major role in the unlikely victory.
A standout feature of the adidas Predator Lethal Zones, which were released earlier this year, are the five distinct rubber and memory 3D foam striking zones that layer over the key sections of the boot, and enhance ball control and precision. Sporting the miCoach feature and Predator’s lightweight cutting edge design, these boots are a perfect match for Hayne, as he showed when setting up the Eels second try with a pin point grubber through to the in goal, which held up perfectly for Ben Smith to score.
Unfortunately Hayne’s match ended early when he was injured in an awkward tackle. But by that stage the damage had been done and the Eels went on to secure their best and perhaps most important win in the last two years.
