Puma PowerCat Boot Test & Review

We recently got hold of a pair of Puma’s latest PowerCats, and we asked a couple of players to take them for a bit of a test run.

A boot designed for power and speed, the soft, lightweight kangaroo leather, combined with synthetic microfiber around the sole, creates a unique fit that hugs the foot and provides a natural feel.

Puma’s PowerGil technology across the front and in-step of the boot enhances the power a kicker can generate when striking the ball, while the TPU-injected external heel counter provides additional stability, particularly when goalkickers are planting their foot.

The bladed studs provided fantastic traction on firm, natural surfaces, and were great for accelerating and exploding off the mark. Our players found the EVA insole greatly enhanced the comfort, while the colourway lent the boots a striking appearance.

Overall, the first impressions were very positive
