We recently got hold of a pair of Nike’s new CTR360 Maestri III boots, so we took them down to the park for a bit of a run-around.
Looking stunning in bold yellow with striking black and white highlights, the latest edition of the CTR360s, a regular favourite with Crusaders’ halfback Andy Ellis, utilises Nike’s KangaLite II Synthetic material on the upper, making for a light-weight yet durable boot which is incredibly comfortable.
Kicking, both out of hand and from the tee, is aided by the All Conditions Control system, which increases friction between the boot of the ball, enhancing contact, and increasing power and accuracy.
Available in both a firm ground bladed soleplate and a SG Pro version that features a blend of moulded and removable studs, either way the boot provides fantastic traction, and allows players to accelerate explosively, perfect for those sniping runs around the fringes of the ruck.
Overall, a great looking boot which impressed immediately and performed well throughout our trial runs.
