2013 adidas Adipower Kakari Wide Fit Rugby Boots

With the new year almost upon us we’re about to be inundated with a raft of new boots from the world’s major manufacturers. adidas will be no different, with new versions of several of their best performing boots due out early in the New Year.

One of these is the Adipower Kakari Wide Fit SG, the boot favoured by many of the world’s premier tight-forwards, including Ireland’s Paul O’Connell, Scotland’s Ritchie Gray, and the All Blacks’ entire tight-five.

The 2013 version is predominantly white, with striking navy and yellow highlights. The robust yet lightweight boot is made from Bravo synthetic leather, which, whilst protecting the foot from the rigours of forward play also helps the boot retain it’s shape while allowing it to mould to the players foot.

Comfort is enhanced by the Synthetic Print heel lining, which holds the foot in place, and the 5mm heel wedge, which adds stability and reduces the risk of injury to the lower limbs. The eight-stud configuration was conceived specifically for tight-forwards, with an emphasis on traction and developing power when pushing and jumping explosively.

The 2013 version of the adidas Adipower Kakari is also compatible with the miCoach technology.
