adidas Predator Incurza – Player’s review
We recently asked Pat Moore, formerly of the Sale Sharks Academy now plying his trade in Christchurch, New Zealand, to play a few matches and kick a couple of balls around at the park wearing the new adidas Predator Incurzas, and then report back on how he found them.
Impressed with the vibrant appearance of the boot when he first took them out of the box, he also commented on the fit when he initially tried them on. Whereas he had experienced problems with previous pairs of Predators, the Incurza, with its asymmetrical, adjustable lacing system, provided a more comfortable fit for his feet, which are slightly wider than average.
When goalkicking, Pat found the Incurzas allowed him to generate more power without having to exert more energy, and he was also impressed with the accuracy that the special kicking zones on the front of the boot helped achieve.
Kicking out of hand yielded similar results, with Pat finding it easy to kick longer distances without having to over-exert himself. He commented on the benefits to a kicker, with the assistance provided by the special zones enabling him to train for longer without become more fatigued.
He enjoyed the snug fit which is aided by the printed pattern on the inside of the boot, finding it provided stability and confidence, and made it easy to accelerate and change direction quickly. All in all he felt the new Predator Incurza out-performed all other Predator’s he had tried previously.
