adidas Predator RX Green Colour-way Launched
We had the adidas Rugby Predator RX Boots released recently and now they are available in a second colour-way. The boots are the fourth rugby version of the hugely successful Predator. The Black/Green/White colour has been launched on the back of the Black/Electricity Predator RX. The new colour has been released to run alongside the release of the Black/Electricity boots.
Look out for the green boots being sported by Francois Steyn, Matt Giteau, Stephen Jones, Ronan O’Gara, Jonathen Sexton and Brian O’driscoll. Expect to the see the boots first in the Six Nations, Top 14 and New Super 15 Competition.
Key Points of the Predator RX
The outsole again features TRAXION SG Hybrid Stud sole system. Meaning the studs will again use the clip in adidas Traxion studs. This has been done for maximum grip on the field while cutting the weight of the boot down.
The Predator technology has also been perfected so that this soft compound provides unparalleled swerve, control, and accuracy. The Predator Elements have been expanded to around the foot, instead of the previous model just on the instep. This is the first time the Rugby Predator is different (bar width) to the Football predator. The extra Predator Rubber elements have been strategically placed for extra power and accuracy when kicking the ball. This was done after lots of Feedback from their Top Rugby players.
The boot also features a wider fit than the last model the Predator Rugby X. The width of the RX is the same as the successful Powerswerve model. This is something again adidas have listened to feedback from both their endorsed players and the public. This combined with the EVA insole which is anatomically moulded so that your foot has the most comfort possible means the best fitting Rugby Predator yet.
