Frank Pritchard’s New Nike Tiempos Match His Bulldogs’ Jersey
Barn-storming Bulldogs’ front-rower Frank Pritchard donned Nike’s latest Tiempo Legend IV’s for the final weeks of the NRL competition, but was unable to help his side convert their Minor Premiership in to a Grand Final win as the Melbourne Storm outclassed the Sydney-siders to grab the spoils.
The new colourway, described as ‘Soar/White’ features a predominantly blue design, with a bold white Swoosh. Diagonal quilt stitching across the front of the boot prevents stretching and enhances fit, comfort and support, while the robust sole-plate makes this a versatile boot perfect for use on any number of natural surfaces.
Born in Australia but representing New Zealand in the international arena, Pritchard began his professional career with the Penrith Panthers, before joining the Bulldogs in 2011. A bruising player on the field, he courted controversy off it as well, when, in 2007, Pritchard, along with his brother, were involved in a violent scuffle which resulted in both receiving knife wounds.
Having moved around the forward pack he seems to have found his feet in Des Hasler’s side as a front-rower, having been one of the Bulldogs’ most consistent performers during a stellar season for the famous club in 2012.
