Lions Watch O,Driscoll in adidas Incurza

Brian O,Driscoll skippers the British & Irish Lions in the opening match in Australia and will be wearing his bright new adidas Predator Incurza special Lions boots.

Adidas as the kit suppliers to the British & Irish Lions have given all the players boots with their names on and O,Driscoll went for the Incurza maybe because they are made from: a super-soft hybrid upper, that gives the benefits of leather and synthetic in a single material. This style of leather has been used as an alternative to K-leather to introduce a stronger material whilst retaining the soft touch. They also have a Hybrid sole plate, that utilises a combination of soft and firm ground studs for optimal grip and traction across natural soft surfaces. Though in Australia we would expect most of the grounds to be firm underfoot.

Look out for Brian strutting his stuff in the new boots on Wednesday 5 June in Perth against the Western Force UK fans can catch him live at 11:00 on SkySports. The game should be a formality but it will be interesting to see how his partnership with Manu Tuilagi pans out, deft skill with power or two power runners. Whatever expect the usual high standards from Brian.
