Mizuno Basara Rugby Boots

The Mizuno Basara is the Japanese brand's full synthetic boot designed for football players as well as rugby players. The boot would suit the wings and backs of the game as it is made to be super lightweight. The boot has been worn by the likes of English rugby player Matt Banahan.

Mizuno Basara Tech Specs

The pro version is dubbed the Basara 001 and it features a super lightweight and soft Primeskin synthetic upper making it the first fully synthetic boot by the Japanese brand. The soleplate is unique as it features a specifically design traction system for performance at speed while and R-Fibre Control upper is installed to reduce stretching. A D-Flex groove placed in the midfoot enhances agility and speed when sprinting and making agile movements.

A graded pebax sole plate enhances durability and provides exceptional flexibility whilst also being much lighter in weight than a regular TPU sole. The Morelia NEO utilises different densities in the heel and forefoot which creates a flexible yet rigid, supportive unit.

With Mizuno being the kings of leather and comfort, Mizuno have also launched a kangaroo leather Basara silo. The kangaroo edition will offer the player with a more protective feel and fit. For players who have don't want to spend big there are the Basara 002 and 003 ranges available.
