Rabbitohs Centre dons soccer boots for Charity Shield clash

Rabbitohs’ centre Dylan Farrell sported an interesting pair of boots during the weekend’s traditional clash against fellow Sydney-siders the Dragons, choosing to wear a pair of Umbro soccer boots in the annual Charity Shield match.

The GT Pro 2 is Umbro’s lightest boot, and in essence represents their ‘speed boot’. Featuring a Japanese microfibre upper and a lightweight soleplate the GT Pro 2 provides optimal traction and a superior fit, with the removable sock-liner and the assymetric concealed lacing system enhancing comfort levels.

The 21-year old Farrell, who scored a hat-trick on debut against the Tigers when still a teenager, had an industrious game against his sides’ traditional foes, helping the Rabbits to a comfortable 28-10 victory.
