Sevens star wears new Citrus Nike CTR360 Maestri iiis
As the IRB Sevens circuit got back in to the swing of things after the Christmas break there were a host of new boots on display, including the new ‘Citrus’ colourway of Nike’s CTR360 Maestri III.
England kicker Christian Lewis Pratt is one of the most prominent players to have been seen in the striking boots, having sported them in England’s tournament win in Wellington, and again the following week as they failed to make it out of Pool play in Las Vegas.
The CTR360 is a favourite of both Crusaders halfback Andy Ellis and Melbourne Storm skipper Cameron Smith, and is a lightweight yet durable boot which utilises Nike’s patented KangaLite II synthetic material.
Kicking, of which Lewis Pratt is particularly proficient, is aided by the All Conditions Control (ACC) system which creates friction between boot and ball and ensures optimal performances no matter what the weather or ground conditions are like.
A blend of moulded and removable studs makes the CTR360 a versatile boot perfect for use on a variety of natural surfaces and provides great traction for explosive bursts of pace, ideal for the up-tempo game of Sevens.
